Bratislava FIC station won the Golden wings prize
Bratislava FIC representative Mr. Branislav Horváth, stated the following:
Dear colleagues,
Bratislava FIC station has been awarded the Golden wings prize in the Civil aviation of Slovak republic category for the year 2022. Bratislava FIC received the award during last weekend’s ceremony in the Slovak government’s flying service’s hangar at Bratislava airport with the attendance of the Speaker of Parliament, Minister of transport, Minister of interior affairs, Secretary of Foreign affairs and many others.
The ceremony had eight different categories. Each category included two to four nominees.
Every category had its own judges, and our class consisted of three aviation professionals who voted in favour of Bratislava FIC’s victory. We competed against two other contestants.
All of Bratislava FIC are delighted that the aviation community in Slovakia has finally honoured our participation in the safety of flight operations. Although we are well known to the flying public, we are delighted finally to be professionally recognized.
