2019 IFISA FISO seminar


General

The 2019 IFISA FISO seminar will take place in Budapest, Hungary the 3rd until the 5th of September. If you are a FISO, a FISO manager, a FISO provider or work with regulation of FIS or have a commercial company developing products relevant to FIS you are invited to sign up and join this unique seminar. The seminar will take place at the Continental Hotel Budapest. Seminar attendees can book rooms at a discounted rate at the hotel during the seminar dates. (IFISA assembly meeting is the yearly assembly for IFISA members where we look back at the passed year, plan the upcoming year, elect the executive board etc. The agenda for this meeting follows the IFISA rules and can be found here: IFISA Rules v3.0 Final adopted version. Anyone can join the meeting but only members have voting and speaking rights)

Transport

Budapest airport (BUD) will be the nearest airport to fly in to. Transfer from the airport is available in the form of taxi but most convenient and most cost effective is public transportation. See more information here.


Hotel accommodation

The “IFISA FISO seminar “ will be conducted at the Continental Hotel Budapest. To book a room at a discounted price, we recommend to book a room via the hotel website. To receive the discount fill in “IFISA” as the Corporate/Promotion Code. There are several other hotels in the nearby area if you want to book a different hotel. It is not mandatory to stay in the seminar Hotel.


Registration and seminar fee

To register for the seminar, please fill in the registration form. After registration you will receive an invoice (The invoice will be sent within 2 weeks) for the seminar fee. When the seminar fee is paid you will receive final confirmation that your registration is complete and successful. As long as the registration is open there are spots available. If you prefer other payment method than invoice please answer the mail with the invoice and explain your request.

The seminar fee is 275 EUR. Included in the fee is participation in all seminar agenda items as well as food and drinks as specified in the agenda.

This year’s special focus during the seminar is Remote Tower Concepts in AFIS and Drones in FIS. Therefore, we invite all interested companies and providers in regard of Drones and Remote Tower Concept to ask for our Sponsorship Model and Opportunities. If you are not related to this topics but have other interesting products and concepts, which might be interesting for AFIS and ENR FIS, please do not hesitate to ask for our sponsorship and model as well.

During the IFISA Assembly and the IFISA IFISO Seminar days, there is an opportunity to book exhibition stands in the conference area. This exhibition area is in direct connection to the seminar hall and will be available for exhibition stands where you can promote your FIS related products. Visa

If you need a personal invitation to the seminar to ascertain a visa to enter Hungary, please send an e-mail to sofi@ifisa.info and specify what you need the mail to contain and the names of the delegates that need a personal invitation.


Visit the Hungaro control Remote tower facility

On Friday the 6:h of September there is a possibility to visit Hungaro control remote TWR facility at the Budapest airport. The visit is an optional “add on” to the seminar. Please specify in your registration if you want to join this visit. The remote tower is operational and for that reason the available spots to join the visit are limited to 40. First come first serve policy applies. So hurry up and sign up for the seminar if you want to join the visit.
