Trade Union of Air Navigation Service (GdF e.V.)
Until 1992 civil Air Navigation Services in Germany was the responsibility of a Federal authority, the Federal Agency for Air Navigation Services (BFS). For forty years, members of the Association of German Air Traffic Controllers (VDF) had belonged to a professional association. Although it had a great deal of influence on the professional and technical development of air traffic control, its members had no union representation. The situation was similar for members of the former FTI (Association of German Air Traffic Services Electronics Personnel, ATSEP). Therefore, following the corporisation of the German Air Navigation Services, a collaboration agreement was concluded with the DAG (The German Salaried Employees’ Union).

Hellenic AFISO Union
Members of the Panhellenic Association of Aerodrome Flight Information Officers (AFISO) CAA, are the State Officers who provide their services in all Airports of the Greek territory and ensure the safety of flights where AFIS service is provided. An additional mission is to provide smooth and uninterrupted operation of aeronautical telecommunications as well as receiving reports concerning air traffic services and flight plans submitted before departure (ATS reporting office – ARO)
